Municipal Elections (except City of Monroe). Polls open at 6:30 AM and close at 7:30 PM.

The Board of Elections office will be closed for Veterans Day. Our office will reopen on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 8:00 AM.

The Board of Elections office will be closed November 27-28 for Thanksgiving. Our office will reopen on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM.

Union County will hold a primary election on March 3, 2026, and a general election on November 3, 2026. Candidate filing will be open from noon on December 1, 2025, to noon on December 19, 2025. Notices of candidacy may only be filed and filing fees may only be paid by the candidates themselves, not by surrogates or staff. If a candidate is unable to file in person, notices of candidacy may be submitted by mail, so long as they are received prior to the close of the filing period.

The December monthly board meeting has been cancelled.  The next regular scheduled meeting is on January 13, 2026.
