Office Entrance Temporarily Moved

Due to ongoing construction on the Union County Board of Elections building, the entrance to our office has been temporarily moved to the side of the building. Board Meeting Cancelled

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Union County Board of Elections regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 14, 2021 has been cancelled. The Board will meet for their next regular meeting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11 at the Board of Elections office located at 316-B East Windsor Street in Monroe. NC Supreme Court Makes Changes to 2022 Candidate Filing and Primary Elections

The North Carolina Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 8 suspended candidate filing for all offices for the 2022 primary election. The Supreme Court also pushed the date of the primary and rescheduled municipal elections to Tuesday, May 17, 2022. It had been scheduled for March 8.
