Early voting for the May 14, 2024, second primary election begins on Thursday, April 25 and ends on Saturday, May 11 at the Main Branch of the Union County Public Library Griffin Room at 316 E. Windsor Street in Monroe.
All voters registered with the Republican Party are eligible to vote in the second primary. Additionally, voters who are registered Unaffiliated and did not vote in the first primary or voted a Republican ballot in the first primary, are eligible to vote. A second primary is not required for the Democrat, Libertarian, Green and No Labels parties.
Early voting hours are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.
There will be no same-day voter registration during the Early Voting period. Voters will be asked to show a photo ID when voting. Anyone without an ID can get on for free at the Board of Elections office at 316-B E. Windsor Street in Monroe.
